The Police Info-Communications Academy has been established for the purpose of education and training on info-communications technologies.

Principal training

Following two types of programs are conducted:

1. General education and training on info-communications technologies for newly employed or promoted staff.
2. Advanced education and training on the information processing, electr onic exchange technology, data communications, mobile radio communica tions, microwave radio communications, satellite and video communicat ions, electromagnetic record analysis technology, etc.

Knowledge and know-how through these education and training are indispensable to maintain and operate the police info-communications systems as well as to support cybercrime investigation and other police activities.
