On the night of October 21st, 1977, a 29-year-old woman, Ms.Kyoko Matsumoto who lived in Yonago city, disappeared somewhere after her mother saw her walking from behind on her way to a nearby knitting class. She has not yet been found since then.
The Japanese Police have maintained a necessary investigation, such as interviewing to the persons concerned for the situation, obtaining the information in the neighborhood, exchanging the information with the authorities concerned, and etc. As a result, it is believed that Kyoko Matsumoto was abducted by North Korea and then taken to North Korea.
