Suspected Abduction Case of Two Siblings
Around the middle of June 1974, young siblings, a 7-year-old girl, Ms. KO Kyongmi and a 3-year-old boy, Mr. KO Kang, disappeared and have not been found since then. The Japanese police interviewed the persons concerned and obtained information in the neighborhood. As a result of the investigation, it is believed that the siblings were abducted by North Korea and then taken to the country.
The Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a North Korean agent, Kinoshita Yoko, a.k.a HONG Su Hye, suspected to have carried out the abduction of Ms. KO Kyongmi and Mr. KO Kang as the principal offender, and had her placed on Interpol’s wanted list. The Police also submitted a requested to North Korea, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for the extradition of Kinoshita Yoko.
