Meeting logo

This logo design incorporates the logo for the Hokkaido Toyako Summit and the logo for the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting.

The G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting logo uses the color blue to conjure up an image of the Earth, and the same earthly blue is used in the English name of the Ministerial Meeting. The gentle peak on the left represents Mount Fuji as seen from Tokyo while the steep angle on the right is Tokyo Tower itself. By selecting Mount Fuji and Tokyo Tower, the fact that the venue of the meeting is set in Tokyo, the capital city of Japan, is highlighted.

The logo will be used for a wide variety of purpose: to identify people and goods connected with the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting, for diplomatic protocol purposes, and public relations materials for participants of the meeting, members of the general public and other countries.

For inquiries on the use of the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial Meeting logo, please contact the National Police Agency or the Ministry of Justice.
