How the Test was Scored

Total Score

The total score is calculated by following equation.

Your total score would be higher if you get more incorrect answer.

      Total Score = 7.731 + 0.641 x A - 0.523 x B - 0.315 x C

　※"A" is a score whether you could answer "Year", "Month", "Day", "Day of the week", and "Time" correctly.  If you answer incorrectly, it gets point and add in your total score.

※"B" is a score whether you could correctly described the 16 objects that you saw.  If your answers are correct, it gets point and subtract from your total score.

※"C" is a score whether you could draw a clock accurately. If your answers are correct, it gets point and subtract from your total score.

36 pts. or higher	Cognitive function is impaired.
Less than 36 pts. and more than 0 pts.	Cognitive function is slightly impaired.
0 pts. or less	Cognitive function is not impaired.
